ARTICLE PROCESSING CHARGE (APC)
Jurnal Abdimas Pariwisata applies an Article Publication Fee to support the operational costs associated with the editorial, peer-review, production, and publication processes of accepted manuscripts.
Article Publication Fee
The publication fee for an article accepted for publication in Jurnal Abdimas Pariwisata is:
Rp350,000 (three hundred fifty thousand Indonesian Rupiah) per article.
The fee is payable only after the manuscript has received a final acceptance decision.
Payment of the publication fee does not influence the editorial decision, peer-review process, or academic assessment of a manuscript.
Manuscripts are evaluated based on their academic quality, originality, relevance, methodological rigor, and compliance with the journal's editorial and publication ethics policies.
Fee Waiver Policy
Jurnal Abdimas Pariwisata provides a fee waiver mechanism for selected articles and authors under the following circumstances:
International Authors
Articles whose authors are affiliated with institutions outside Indonesia may be eligible for a full waiver of the Article Publication Fee.
Eligibility for a waiver is subject to editorial verification and the journal's applicable policy
Articles with Significant Strategic Tourism Impact
Articles that demonstrate substantial potential contribution to current strategic tourism issues may be considered for a fee waiver.
This may include research addressing significant and timely issues in tourism development, sustainability, destination management, tourism policy, community-based tourism, tourism resilience, innovation, digital transformation, inclusive tourism, or other strategic tourism issues considered important by the editorial team.
The determination of whether an article qualifies under this category is made by the editorial team based on the manuscript's relevance, originality, potential contribution, and strategic significance.
Waiver Request and Decision
Authors seeking a fee waiver should indicate their eligibility or request in the appropriate communication with the editorial office.
A fee waiver request must not affect the peer-review process or the editorial decision regarding the manuscript.
The decision to grant a fee waiver is separate from the decision to accept or reject a manuscript.
No Submission or Review Fee
Jurnal Abdimas Pariwisata does not charge authors a submission fee or peer-review fee.
The Article Publication Fee is charged only after a manuscript has been formally accepted for publication.
Transparency and Non-Discrimination
The application of publication fees and fee waivers is administered transparently and does not affect the academic evaluation of manuscripts.
All manuscripts, regardless of the authors' nationality, institutional affiliation, or ability to pay, are subject to the same editorial and peer-review standards.
