The Elephant Learning Center (ELC) at Way Kambas National Park (WKNP) serves as a vital attraction, offering visitors a unique opportunity to interact with Sumatran elephants while promoting Indonesia’s biodiversity conservation. Transitioning from entertainment-based tourism to a conservation-focused, educational tourism model, WKNP aims to enhance its image as a sustainable ecotourism destination. This study employs a descriptive qualitative approach, gathering data through interviews, focus group discussions, and direct observations to evaluate the development of content for the information center. Findings indicate that strengthening educational content, such as infographics, photos and interactive exhibits, effectively raises visitor awareness of elephant conservation and biodiversity. Additionally, the involvement of buffer village communities in tourism activities generates economic benefits and helps preserve local cultural heritage. Therefore, the EEC Information Center plays a strategic role in supporting WKNP's transformation into an educational, conservation-based tourism destination aligned with sustainability principles.
