The method employed combines participatory approaches and experiential learning through hands-on training, discussions, product-making practices, and evaluation via pre- and post-tests. The proposed solution includes training in beverage innovation—such as lemongrass coffee mocktails and herbal coffee syrups—and digital marketing strategies using social media platforms. Watusigar Village has considerable potential for tourism development through its ecological landscape and local cultural heritage. However, gaps in governance, limited tourism product diversification, and weak institutional capacity of the Tourism Awareness Group (Pokdarwis) remain challenges. This article analyzes the planning and implementation of the “Nyigar Alas Watusigar” Fun Trail Run as a tourism product innovation based on sport tourism, using Participatory Rural Appraisal (PRA) and Community-Based Tourism (CBT) approaches. PRA was implemented through social mapping, focus group discussions, problem prioritization, and participatory action planning. The findings demonstrate that multi-stakeholder collaboration strengthened planning quality, facilitated the co-production of knowledge, and improved the managerial capacity of Pokdarwis. The Fun Trail Run also contributed to tourism product diversification, destination image enhancement, and community participation. Integrating PRA and CBT offers a practical model for sustainable, community-based sport tourism development that can potentially be replicated in other tourism villages in Indonesia.
Runavia Mulyasari, Mohamad Rachmadian Narotama, Popi Irawan Copyright (c) 2026 Runavia Mulyasari, Mohamad Rachmadian Narotama, Popi Irawan https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-sa/4.0 https://jurnal.ampta.ac.id/index.php/JAP/article/view/1016 Thu, 13 Aug 2026 00:00:00 +0200 Pelatihan Totebag Ecoprint bagi Siswa RA Hidayatul Insan Karanganyar: Mewujudkan Edukasi Seni Ramah Lingkungan dan Potensi Daya Tarik Wisata Kreatif https://jurnal.ampta.ac.id/index.php/JAP/article/view/888
Ecoprint Tote Bag Training for Students of RA Hidayatul Insan Karanganyar: Realizing Environmentally Friendly Art Education and the Potential for Creative Tourism Attractions.

This activity focused on providing ecoprint tote bag training for students at RA Hidayatul Insan Karanganyar to introduce natural printing techniques while instilling early environmental awareness. Using plant parts like leaves and flowers to create fabric patterns without harmful chemicals, ecoprinting serves as an eco-friendly, hands-on learning medium. The training utilized a "learning by doing" approach, where children arranged gathered botanical materials on tote bags, pounded them to transfer natural pigments, and completed color fixation. Results demonstrated high student enthusiasm and creative expression. Beyond fostering artistic skills and environmental consciousness, these ecoprinted tote bags hold strong potential as local creative products that support educational and eco-friendly tourism.
