However, limited product innovation and low digital literacy among local MSMEs hinder optimal development. This community service program aims to enhance local capacity in creating innovative coffee-based beverages and utilizing digital media for promotion. The method employed combines participatory approaches and experiential learning through hands-on training, discussions, product-making practices, and evaluation via pre- and post-tests. The proposed solution includes training in beverage innovation—such as lemongrass coffee mocktails and herbal coffee syrups—and digital marketing strategies using social media platforms. The results showed a 65% increase in participants’ understanding of digital promotion and the development of higher-value coffee derivative products. In conclusion, collaboration between educational institutions and local communities can effectively strengthen creative economy initiatives based on local potential and accelerate digital transformation in community-based tourism development.
Hetty Yulianti Sihite
